Guilherme Caldeira Brant

About

Guilherme has extensive experience in Business Law. He was CEO of CEASAMINAS – Centrais de Abastecimento de Minas Gerais, a mixed-capital corporation of the Federal Government and the largest fruit and vegetable distribution company in Minas Gerais. In this position, he led the implementation of modern governance practices and the company’s adaptation to the requirements of the State-Owned Companies Law.

Previously, Guilherme worked for over 18 years as a legal advisor to a major steel group, both in consultancy and litigation. In strategic consultancy, he was directly involved in the implementation of expansion projects for the business group.

He has proven consulting experience in the analysis and drafting of highly complex commercial and real estate contracts, involving operations of several sizes. In addition, he was responsible for the management of administrative and judicial proceedings in the areas of business, civil, labor, real estate and tax.

• Bachelor’s degree in law from FUMEC University (1999)
• Specialization Degree (Certificate) in Business Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais – PUC/MG (2003).
